The golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Dunton was celebrated at their home near Molalla last Sunday. More than
50 guests were present, most of whom were immediate realtives. The afternoon program was most interesting, consisting of
speeches, and of music furnished entirely by the seven sons and daughters, assisted by their children.

The couple were married in Algona, Ia., February 17, 1878, and have made their home in Molalla the past 24 years. Four sons
and three daughters and their families attended the wedding anniversary. They were J. E. and F. E. Dunton of Portland; V. H. and
W. L. Dunton of Molalla; Mrs. Gladys Hargreaves, Carus; Mrs. Gleam Rose, Parkrose, and Mrs. Nina Elkins, Molalla.
