On their golden wedding anniversary, Wednesday, Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Andrews held open-house from 2 o'clock until evening at
their home in Mount Pleasant.

Many relatives and friends called during that time to extend congratulations, and many felicitous messages were received.
Gifts suitable for the occasion were presented to Mr. and Mrs. Andrews, among these being old-fashioned bouquets.

Among the interesting features were radio programs in honor of the couple, given by KOIN and KTBR stations in Portland to the
surprise of Mr. and Mrs. Andrews. Announcement came over the radio of the golden wedding anniversary, the announcers
congratulating the couple. Appropriate musical selections followed.
